A shocking incident has come to light from Kerala’s Kochi International Airport. Where on Sunday morning an Air India passenger was arrested by CISF officials at the X-ray Baggage Inspection System (XBIS) checkpoint. The passenger was arrested because during the checking he asked the CISF officials whether there is a bomb in my bag?

CISF officials said that the person who has been arrested is Manoj Kumar and his age is about 41 years. The person was to travel from Kochi to Mumbai by Air India flight. After this comment of the person, he was not allowed to board the flight, but was handed over to the police.

A statement has also been issued by Kochi Airport regarding this entire matter. In which it is said that during the pre-embarkation security check, the person asked the CISF officer, “Is there a bomb in my bag?” This comment of the person immediately raised many questions in the mind of the officer. After which the airport security team took immediate action and called the bomb disposal squad.

After this, the passenger’s bag was checked. Officials said that after completing the necessary investigation, the person was handed over to the local police for further investigation. At the same time, the flight was dispatched on time.
